Pastor Janice Thompson

Although new to Flandreau, Pastor Janice has been in the area since 1996. She attended and graduated from SDSU. She even worked a stint as a counseling intern at Flandreau Indian School in 2003-2004. After receiving her call to ministry, she attended Sioux Falls Seminary and has been a pastor since 2015. Janice has worked with people from around the world at the Multi-Cultural Center of Sioux Falls and has a heart for people from all walks of life. In the summer, she can be seen with her husband, Darick on the Harley.

One thing Pastor Janice wants you to know is that everyone’s faith in Jesus starts somewhere. Flandreau United Methodist Church has a place for the beginner to the mature Christian, to grow in your relationship with the Lord. God’s amazing grace is for you.
